My grandfather, Donald John MacDonald was born is Baddeck. My grandmother (his wife) Helen Irene MacDonald was born in Port Hood. My great uncle, Alexander "Sandy" MacDonald lived in Sydney. My great uncle Roderick MacDonald lived in Baddeck. Their sister, Catherine was born in Baddeck and moved to Vancouver later in life. I have visited, myself. Would love to come back again, but too far from Wisconsin for now. |
